Mondays – Band is open to 4th-6th graders. Classes are from 3:05-4:35. The first session runs throughDecember and includes a performance at the Winter Program. The second session will begin in January and include marching in the Butter and Eggs Day parade in downtown Petaluma. Cost is $60 for each session. Students have the option of playing the flute, clarinet, trumpet or trombone. Parents should plan to attend the first meeting on Monday, Oct 5 to get more information about the class.
Tuesdays and Thursdays – Pep Squad is open to 1st-6th graders. Practices are from 3:05- 4:35. The first session starts on October 6th and will run through flag football season which ends in December. The second session will begin after the winter break and end with marching in the Butter and Eggs Day parade. The cost is $45 for the first session. Parents should plan to attend the first meeting on Tuesday, Oct 6 to receive uniform information and requirements of the class.
Wednesdays – Chess: CHESS FOR KIDS, Inc. is offering a 6 week session of instructional chess classes beginning on Wednesday, October 7. Classes will be on Oct 7, 14, 21, 29, November 4 and 18 and will run from 1:55- 2:55. Classes are open to all students, Kindergarten – 6th grade. Cost is $30 per student.
Our first sport will be coed soccer. Students must fill out a participation form and be cleared by their doctor before beginning practice. First practice is Sept 10 beginning at 3:00.
Game Date and Locations:
Parent drivers will be needed to transport students and must fill out a driver clearance form that can be obtained from the office.
Upcoming sports are flag football, basketball and volleyball.
