About Our School

Two Rock Union School District is a one school district. Two Rock Elementary School serves students in grades kindergarten through 6. The enrollment is relatively steady at 185. The school and district were established in 1885. The present facility was built in 1953, and is well maintained. About half of the students are from the adjacent Two Rock Coast Guard station and the others are mostly from the neighboring ranches. About 30% of the students are Hispanic, 6% African American, and the majority is Caucasian. In the 2009-2010 school year there are ten regular classrooms with highly qualified teachers. There is one special education teacher, one English Language Development teacher, and part-time music and physical education teachers. There is also a part-time business manager.

Our school offers many enrichment and sports activities after school. The school also provides a fee based childcare program before and after school each day.
