Welcome Back to School!

Dear Two Rock Families,

It is a pleasure to welcome you to a new school year! Our first day of school is August 16, 2023. I hope that you were able to enjoy some relaxing time with family and friends over the summer.

Back to School Night is scheduled for September 7, 2023 at 5:30 PM. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teacher.

All signs point to another incredible and productive school year. Our skilled and devoted staff is already planning and preparing for your child(ren). Our enthusiastic office team is registering new families, ordering needed materials and updating student files. Our hard working and conscientious staff have spent the summer thoroughly cleaning the facility. We are indeed a kind and caring learning community with the common goals of nurturing responsible, caring students and promoting high-level learning:

• Ms. Mariela Lozano: 1st Grade, Room 6

• Ms. Kim Lloyd: 2nd Grade, Room 7

• Mrs. Eliza Zindler: 3rd Grade, Room 8

• Ms. Megan Jordan 4th Grade Room 9

• Mr. Perry Gray: 5th/6th Grade, Room 11

• Special Education Teacher, Room 13 Emily Klein

We will resume a before-school and after-school program for families who need childcare before or after school. Please contact the school office to learn more about signing up. As the year progresses, we will share information about after-school enrichment and interventions.

On the first day of school a packet will be sent home with each student. Included in this packet are Emergency Cards, Meal Application, Media Opt-Out Form, Annual Notice to Parents, Remind Sign-Up Instruction sheet, Bell Schedule and District Calendar. If you have any questions regarding either of these forms please contact the office. We would like these forms returned as soon as you can.

Two Rock continues to shine as a school with a rigorous and creative curriculum with high expectations for all students. We are proud of our achievements as California Distinguished School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, and Purple Star School. Our goal is to provide each student with an engaging learning environment where all are welcome, known and supported. We look forward to partnering with you as we continue to provide a safe learning environment and celebrate all Two Rock students.

I am excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year and looking forward to meeting you all over the next several weeks and seeing all of you on the first day of school.
